The Mars Resource Utilization and Botany Resource Station is designed to support in-situ infrastructure and agriculture services for resources readily available and accessible on Mars. Successful Marsian Water mining and agricultural operations ensure an independent and sustainable human presence on Mars.
The extreme conditions on Mars, such as unbreathable atmosphere, weather, surface temperature, and gravity, constrain all human activities (e.g., farming and manufacturing). Therefore, we focus our efforts on designing structures capable of housing such services in a Mars environment.
We are developing an advanced concept of the MRUBD Station’s typical modular structure capable of housing various research station operations, like research, farming, water processing, and gas extraction.
